Titan arum

A titan arum, or "corpse flower" blooming (this happens every two years or so) in the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers. This isn't even a really large one. It's supposed to stink of carrion to attract insects, but to me, it smelt more like cabbage gone bad. May 30, 2005.
